A Quick Question about How To Post Variants

Posted by DeadPhoenX - June 21st, 2019

I'm still rather new to putting up artwork on Newgrounds. I'm in the process of putting up some of my old artwork. Along the way, I noticed that you can put more images into the description of the uploaded artwork, like alternate variants. In the case of my artwork, it's usually Nude variants. Depending on the gallery, I've always had to handle these uploads differently. On my Main Gallery, I put both the clean and NSFW variants in the same post. But On DeviantArt, Pixiv, and Tumblr, I've always had to do them on different posts, at least so that at least the clean one can remain visible to the general public.

However this place is different. I think lots of people prefer to have their NSFW Filters off. But I still wanna be sure that I do this right before I start uploading the more recent stuff to the Art Portal (the older stuff is still remaining off)

So here's the question?

Do you prefer Clean and NSFW variants uploaded to a single post?

Or do you prefer Clean and NSFW Variants uploaded to multiple posts?

I think I like the way you're doing it now: uploading the clean and NSFW variants separate from each other. Like you said, this way the SFW art can stay publicly visible and people wanting the lewds can get them from the next post.

I agree. I think the way you're posting works. I despise NSFW, So keeping it separate from your SFW is appreciated. I enjoy your art, you have become one of my favorites quickly. Thanks for coming to NG.

Thank you for the input. That's another thing I wanted to account for. Glad ya like my artwork! Happy to be on Newgrounds! :D
